In my blog post for the Double Diamond fold card I gave a little sneaky peak at the December 2021 Love from Lizi Party Time Kit. I didn’t have chance to play with this kit when it arrived before Christmas so I am enjoying creating with it this week. The theme of the kit is Party Time and it has lots of elements that can be used for New Year cards. The challenge for me is using this kit to make cards for other occasions.
Like a lot of crafters I find making cards with a masculine feel a little difficult. The colour scheme and die cuts in this kit made making this birthday card very easy.
Inspiration for the layout of this card was from Gentleman Crafter challenge sketch 1
I added peel off strips to the edges of the patterned paper and also on the inside of the card.
To give a bit of sparkle I added glossy accents to the balloon, wine glass and the sequins.
The kits from Love from Lizi are full card, patterned papers, die cuts and embellishments all themed so you can make lots of gorgeous cards.
